I’ve been fortunate to shape my career around two passions — design and music — through two businesses that have been part of my life for decades: JangleBox LLC and Lasko Design + Consulting.
I founded JangleBox in 2004, and for more than 20 years we’ve been creating boutique guitar pedals that have earned recognition from renowned performers, respected recording artists, and inspired players around the world. Celebrating our 20th anniversary was a milestone that reminded me not only of how far we’ve come, but also of how rewarding it has been to connect with so many talented musicians. As both a fan and an amateur player myself, those connections remain one of the most meaningful parts of the work..
Lasko Design began more than 35 years ago as an independent graphic design studio in the Washington, D.C. area. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with businesses, associations, and educational institutions on a wide range of projects. My portfolio, which has earned recognition along the way, reflects the breadth of that experience as well as my commitment to creating design that holds up over time. In recent years, I’ve focused much of my design energy on JangleBox itself, developing everything from advertising and marketing collateral to packaging, product graphics, signage, and exhibits.
These two ventures continue to complement and strengthen one another. My design practice brings clarity and creativity to JangleBox’s brand, while the music business keeps my design perspective grounded, fresh, and practical. That balance between creativity and application is at the core of everything I do.
If you’re here because you’re considering me for a design project, I’m grateful for your interest and would welcome the opportunity to bring that mix of experience and creativity to your work. And if what brought you here is simply a search for a great guitar pedal — I can help with that, too!
